I still have a small menagerie of very special ones that can fit on a shelf of my entertainment unit around the old monitor I use for a TV. (no ventilation holes being blocked of course) But I won't collect any new ones... not 'til life is more settled... just like no new plants. I shall not increase clutter! I feel the same way about things like stuffed animals which was why I still had them at the time. My best friend said something similar about Craig's List and getting rid of some stuff she had collected over the years for future craft projects... just things like jars and the like. But a substantial collection and she didn't just want to toss it out or even just put it into the recycle bin. I much prefer things be reused than recycled... I was happier still to give some of my stuffed animals to neighbour's kids than strangers. (I asked parents before even hinting to the kids of course.) It was great seeing their eyes light up. The kids each got a small desk as well when I moved out. That is very cool to hear.
